Watercolorist and Batik Artist

       I am currently researching and creating work that encompasses my surroundings and environment. Photographing the local landscape of wherever I may be. Editing and sketching chosen scenes for future batiks. I recently spent a month in Blonduos, Iceland at the Textilseur Islands Residency. There I collaborated with international artist on projects local to the area. Blonduos is a town of just 800 and offers natural landscapes and incredible views. One side of the town has a beautiful view of the mountains and the other side is the Atlantic Ocean. Using natural and found plants to dye my fabric.
